About the Course
Are you using your digital camera to find and
capture interesting and impactful photographs?
In this workshop, you will use your digital camera for specific exercises, then go to Photoshop to refine and optimize the photos to bring out their impact.
Learn how to shoot for impact, to create images that grab viewers’ attention, photos that take your photography up a notch. This workshop will include lecture, assignments (including Photoshop work) and critiques to help you learn specific techniques designed to help you develop the Wow Factor in your photographs.

Topics covered will include such things as choosing a focal length to create impact, using light for drama, using Photoshop to optimize the impact of your photos, creating compositions beyond average and more. In the end, you will look for and see new photographic possibilities when you go out photographing.
