Judy Host is one of California’s leading portrait photographers. She has won numerous awards for her photography and was recently featured in Rangefinder Magazine as one of Today’s Top Children’s Photographers. Her work has been selected for National Exhibition by the Professional Photographers of America from whom she has received Masters and Craftsman degrees.

She has received three Kodak Gallery awards and many of her images are part of a traveling loan collection. In 2005, she spent two weeks in Africa documenting the beginning phase of a project to end poverty in Uganda, Rwanda and South Africa.

In 2006, Judy spent four weeks traveling to Thailand, Sri Lanka and India photographing the survivors of the Tsunami. She is currently working with InStyle Magazine to create a journal of the events leading up to the Golden Globes, an event she has photographed for the last five years.


She has also photographed for William H. Macy and Felicity Huffman, Pierce Brosnan and Nicole Kidman to name a few. Judy teaches workshops world-wide.
