Joyce Wilson’s remarkable career spans half a century, and although laurels keep landing in Joyce’s corner, it is her work that speaks volumes, telling three stories of a distinguished career. First apparent is a successful photography career covering portrait
and commercial assignments, and intertwined is a full schedule of lectures and teaching throughout the world. Joyce has been featured since 1990 as a member of the Fuji Talen t Team, and is in demand to share her knowledge and experience. Her images have appeared in advertising usage by Fuji Film, Prudential Insurance, Kodak, Mamiya America and the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra. Her accomplishments and awards are too numerous to list, but among the most notable is an Hon. Master of Science from Brooks Institute, the International Photographic Council Leadership Award presented at the United Nations, and the PPA Lifetime Achievement Award.
Joyce’s personal work, a celebration of the fantasies and realties of nature and the human form are shown in solo and group exhibitions and included in the permanent collection at the Santa Barbara Museum of Art, and the International Photography Hall of Fame in Oklahoma City.

Joyce presently lives and works out of Santa Barbara, CA where she services a limited clientele, and instructs at choice photographic workshops. She served on the faculty at Brooks Institute from 2000 – 2006 and continues to guest lecture and teach week-end workshops at Brooks.
